Provincial Grand Lodge of Down

 

 

Ivan is a native of Hillsborough and presently lives just outside the village.  He attended Hillsborough Primary School and then Banbridge Academy. 

 

He worked for one of the major banks for 32 years in a variety of roles in both Branch and Head Office and is now involved in adult education.

 

Ivan was initiated into Star of Kilwarlin Lodge 66, Hillsborough, in 1988, becoming Worshipful Master in 1997 and Secretary from 2002 to 2011.  He was appointed as a Provincial Grand Lodge Inspector in 2003 and held this position until his installation as Provincial Assistant Grand Master in September 2011.  He was Gift Aid Treasurer for Banbridge District Masonic Charity Committee for over 10 years and is presently the Secretary of that Committee.

His current responsibilities on behalf of the Province are for:- The Grand Lodge Finance Committee, the Grand Lodge Annual Report, the Provincial Grand Lodge Treasurer, the Provincial Grand Registrar and  the Provincial Grand Lodge Supt of Works.
