PGM's Portrait

 

It has come to the Province's attention that Halls and Lodges might like to purchase a copy of the PGM's official portrait. That being the case Lodges or Halls wishing to make such a purchase have the choice of two options :-
 
 
Symbolism within the portrait :-
 
  • The left hand stained glass window belongs to R.W.Bro. Gray’s Mother Lodge – Bangor Union Masonic Lodge No.746.
  • The right hand window bears the seal of his other Lodge – Lodge Ireland 2000 – Ireland’s Internet Lodge of which he is a Founder Member.
  • He sits in the Master’s Chair from Bangor hall.
  • He wears the Province of Down Provincial Grand Master’s chain of office previously worn by his late father – R.W.Bro. Richard E. (Reg) Gray and he holds the P.G.M’s ivory maul.
  • Round his neck he wears the P.G.M’s neck jewel presented to him by the members of his Mother Lodge.
  • He wears gloves bearing his own personal standard.
  • His breast jewels are those of his Mother Lodge No.746, the Internet Lodge No. 2000 and the 275th Anniversary jewel.
  • The V.S.L. was presented by Lodge No.746 when he completed his year as Worshipful Master and the Square & Compasses are those of Lodge Ireland 2000.
